I am sure you must have annoyed by this “useless” so called “new sidebar ticker” feature of facebook. I just hate it and this is the only thing which forced me to write this extension for chrome. As a chrome user, I was searching for some solution online but didn’t find any good solution.

This is the simplest solution to save you from this sidebar ticker. It simply disables the ticker while you browse

facebook site. Facebook dosen’t itself provide any option to disable this useless feature. Do not worry, just install this extension to your chrome browser and be free from this ticker.

      Thanks Smoy. You know as a hardcore FB user, I was totally annoyed with this ticker and that is the only thing which forced me to do soemthing for my system but idea became a bit broad and I end up with creating an extension for chrome. :) FF will be coming soon too !

      If yes then just uninstall from the chrome extensions settings and restart the browser.
